GIT and Land Information Systems

Realization of the benefits of a contemporary land administration system requires transparent, current, and readily accessible information on land and property. The latter requires a combination of Geographic Information Technology (GIT) for digital mapping, a relational database for attribute data, and internet/intranet technologies for accessible communication all packaged into a modular system for customized, incremental development. Each client has different requirements, legacy systems, skills, and goals that require careful analysis to ensure that the most appropriate system and process is designed for immediate and ongoing success and results. Terradigm has the experience and the systems to conduct an effective needs analysis, work with the client on design, and facilitate the implementation of the system. With web-enabled technologies this can lead to the development of widely accessible, on line land information and other electronic government information services in a one-stop-shopping structure.
