Internships to the SADC Centre for Land related, Regional and development Law and Policy at the University of Pretoria.

December 31st, 2005

Erin O'Brin (M.Phil, People Property and ADR) and Aaron Felt (1st year Law) have been awarded internships from the Association of Universities and Canadian Colleges. Erin and Aaron will be spending 12 weeks in South African gaining hands on experience looking at governance issues relating to an ongoing Land Administration project lead by Dr. Nic Olivier, Director of the SADC Centre for Land related, Regional and development Law and Policy at the University of Pretoria.

The CLRDLP focuses on applied research and consultancy work for international organisations, the SA and other SADC governments, as well as participating in multi-disciplinary and interinstitutional research with a strong policy and implementation focus, specializing in rural development, governance, land reform, and in environmental and IGR issues, at transnational, national, regional (provincial) and local level.
