Mexico – Land Administration Course Property . . . A Concept, an Institution and a Right

This one week course was designed and taught to introduce property as a system: the combination of laws, the infrastructure and its associated registries and titling and technology required to create and maintain information about property rights. The development of effective property systems requires an integrated and multi-disciplinary information. There is increasing urgency to modernize the institution of property and land tiling registry and to build the property infrastructure. Also need is a system of legal rights and notice/enforcement to support property-based collateral and credit. The target audience was executives from Mexico and Ecuador.
