Faced with developing a Land Policy?

An essential pre-requisite for establishing an effective land administration system and ensuring security of tenure is a land policy. Land policy sets the national priorities for land, and provides the framework or foundation for land laws and regulations, institutional reforms, and organizational change. Development of land policy, therefore, needs to be a broad, consultative process that is guided by knowledge of the implications and consequences of policy alternatives. This is where Terradigm’s experience with different jurisdictions can provide valuable guidance.
